Been rather blah most of today – not sure if it was the rainy Florida weather or just this headache that’s prevailed most of the afternoon. Regardless, The Tudors are on tonight so I’ll stay up to watch that. Gotta love Me some Jonathon Rhys Meyers. Yummy. Henry Cavil isn’t that hard on the eyes either. Rather partial to him. Gotta love it when men look delicious in period clothing. Not an easy thing to do, mind you. Most men look rather foolish. But there are some that are simply divine. This would be two of them.

Of course, I love the show itself. So horribly decadent. Not a bad bit of drama and entertainment for an hour a week or so. I’ve loved it from the very beginning and it’s one of the highlights to My week to get to sit down and enjoy it.

Granted, as actors they are merely figments to be enjoyed from a far. But how much would I love to get My hands on either of them and leave marks on their backs?

Beyond that I’ve spend the weekend rather quietly. squire being unavailable is a nuisance, but it’s part of life really. I’ve debated taking on others, but simply haven’t found one that I feel worthy of My actual real life attention. That and I just dont want to bring someome else into My home just yet. Want more space for that, and more things to play with. I really do need a proper play space.

Hoping that the jackass downstairs will continue his quietness. I prefer him that way, and since I’m unable to go down and pound the living crap out of him like I want to most of the time due to the laws of society (damn society!), I can appreciate when things are as I desire them to be.

Now I just need to update My site! That will be My main focus this evening I think. In addition to doing laundry. squire is unavailable and I don’t have the desire to go out, so Domestic Goddess I will be.

First and foremost I would like to offer My personal thanks and gratitude for any and all who have worn a uniform. Today is US Armed Forces Day after all, and My appreciation for the men and Women who had made the ultimate decision to serve their country is unlimited.

I am a strong supporter of our military and feel that they should be respected their sacrifices. Their families as well for all that they endure. It is a generally thankless, and difficult job, regardless of branch or level of service.

Let us not forget, as well, the men and Women who are first responders on our home soil. The police, emt, firefighter et al who run towards the danger while the rest of us run away. Their courage, determination and will are to be commended.

Make sure,  as this is also the end of National Police Week, that you thank those in uniform you see. you would be amazed at how far a small show of appreciation can go, and what it can do for those that rarely get to hear it.

I’m hoping, at least, that the idiotic neighbor downstairs from Me is considerate enough NOT to blast his radio tonight. I’m rather tired of listening to “Sweet Home Alabama”, “Walking in Memphis” and a myriad of Elton John classics. What I wouldn’t give to be able to string him up and whip the hell out of his hide. Alas, I doubt he’d been copacetic to that idea and as much as I’d like to punch the fucker in the face, I have no desire to see the inside of a cell.

Sure would be fun to pummel his scrawny ass though. Especially after last week when he yelled up thruogh the floor that I was a ’stupid bitch’.

I swear. I’m still here!

Life, again, just got REALLY busy. Lots of projects I’m assisting with and contributing to. Lots of possibilities and ideas for the future. But no need to worry My darling little sycophants! Now for the good stuff.

First I’m going to start off with a review of Iron Man 2.
Let Me start off by saying that beyond anything else, I would happily sign up to have Robert Downey, Jr.’s babies. Yes. He rocks while you suck. you know you’d happily suck his cock for Me too if you were ordered (and assuming he’d be game for it as well, of course.) The movie itself was very enjoyable. I go into these things expecting a good action flick. The fact that it has some very high quality actors in it from Downey, to Paltrow, to Cheadle and Rourke doesn’t hurt it one iota.

I didn’t read Iron Man when I was into comics. Yes, I read comics and will still occasionally do so when one strikes My fancy. Live with it. So for Me, I’m watching it almost as any mundane, ‘normal’ non-comic book reading patron would view it. Granted, I have a little ‘in’ in that I have those I can turn to and say, “alright, how’d it stack up to the original?”. From what I understand the first did exceptionally well, and this wasn’t a let down either. The only real complaint I heard was that someone was upset Black Canary (played by Scarlett Johanssen) didnt have the appropriate accent. Alright, well, that’s relatively minor as her having an accent or not didn’t seem to deter from the film itself. Personally, if she couldn’t pull it off, I’d rather her NOT and not screw it up then try it and fail.

Black Canary, of course, kicked holy ASS and I absolutely fell in love with her for it. Yes, I want the costume. Yes, My own ass needs to get into the gym to be able to wear it. I’ll get there though. *winks*

Rourke was excellent as Whiplash. Man plays characters like that like a second skin, which I would assume they are to him, so it’s not surprising that I enjoyed his portrayal of the bad guy.

I wasnt sure what to make of the switch between Terrance Mann to Don Cheadle as Rhoadie/WarMachine, but I quite enjoyed the switch. Mann is, essentially, easy on the eyes. But Cheadle is a better actor and filled the part out nicely.

Downey is…well he’s Downey. I’ve already expressed My views there in. *growls*

Action was awesome. I prefer more personal combat in My films. I don’t generally like to see a lot of CGI work and what not. But for this, it works, and really gave Me what I sat down hoping to see. Lots of explosions, comedy, action and great acting for an action film without overdoing it TOO much. (Clash of the Titans could really take a lesson here) Needless to say, I give it two enthusiastic thumbs in the ass.

Maybe that’s what I should make My own personal movie rating systems! thumbs in the ass! They can be up, down, sideways or any combination there in! I rather like that idea, actually! I’m going with it.

My that was a rather long review, now, wasn’t it?

The past few weeks I’ve been under the weather as well. (This is where you “awwww” and open those wallets to send Me things to make Me happy in My recovery, btw.) Was finally starting to feel decent this weekend and squire, lovely devoted little whore that he is, treated Me to a mini-vacation in the land of mouse – otherwise known as Disney World.

Now, I’m not huge on the whole Princess thing. I generally despise princesses. My exceptions to that are Belle (since she’s not really a princess but a highly intelligent, well rounded Woman) and Ariel. The two odd-ball princesses. Go figure.

I’m also not one to be CALLED a princess. Some girls are, but they are just that. Girls. I’m a Woman. I’ll be your Goddess or Queen, thankyouverramuch.

I’m MUCH more so into the villains, of course. Give Me Maleficent especially. Or the Evil Queen. Cernabog. Oh yes, Cernabog. If you don’t know what charactre that is, google it damn it. (you expect Me to do ALL the work in My posts?!)

When it comes to the cute in Disney, I’ll take Stitch, or some of the other animal type characters.

Anyway, it was an awesome trip. I was well take care of. Doted on. Adored. And of course the sex rocked it. Hotel sex is just fun as all fuck, even when the hotel sucks.

I AM hoping to be online more the next few weeks. Going to see how My schedule plays out and what life decides to throw at Me.

For now, I’m going to go eat, read and relax for the night after having taken a grand call during the posting of this blog.

Had an eye exam earlier today and of course My baby blue/greens were dilated. That’s always fun. Spent the next 5 hours (and still slightly) in a state of constant blurriness. Wheeee….perhaps people should get this done more often instead of trying recreational drugs?

I’ve been absent again. I know. Life happens. Deal. I’m looking forward to what I HOPE will be a rather laid back, relaxed weekend of being utterly pampered. We’ll see.

So I’ve been considering re-imaging the website again. Something doesn’t feel quite right about it anymore and I really want it to be an extension of Me.

Good news is, though, that I’ve gotten a new scanner so I should (hopefully) be able to add some more pics to the site relatively soon. Of course, relatively soon to Me could very well be a few months!

I’ve had some inquiries on absence. Mainly because people feel I have left them hanging in one way or another. Fret not My flock, I simply do that from time to time when the ‘outside’ world gets a little hectic or overwhelming. Think about it. Life is chaotic enough at times but to then have to cater to your whims? Should really be the other way around I think. So if you get turned off by that – oh well. I have a life to live and I’m going to. Those that understand that will remain patiently kneeling.

I am in constant evolution as well. More to learn, more the explore and do. Something I have been reminded of lately due to My relationship with squire is that we all should strive to be the very best of WHO we are – whatever form that takes. Yes, even us Dominant types. It can be all too easy to allow that power, that energy to go to our heads and corrupt ourselves. I am a stronger person and better partner, be is vanilla or otherwise, to recognize that was the direction I was headed in and it didnt make Me happy one bit.

So there in, a bit of a chrysalis for Me.

This weekend has been very laid back so far – which I quite enjoy. squire is napping right now (we went shopping earlier) and I am hoping that the poor exhausted thing wakes up in time for us to catch a movie later. I could wake him, sure…but he deserves a good rest.

If we do I will be certain to post review. One thing I need to do as well is update wordpress again. *sighs* Last time I did that I had to restart My blog entirely. Really would like to avoid that so I may just keep it this way for a while longer.

I really DO need to blog more though. I think those of you reading it are more convinced of My existence when I do so. My websites hits certainly increase whenever I post something new. Funny that. you all look, but don’t speak a word. Fix that.

Change is always a constant in life. Each day, each hour, each minute provides us with new opportunities and experiences – all of which culminate into our personal development.

Being Dominant doesn’t make One exempt from this particular occurrence. I deserve to be treated and respected like the Goddess that is within Me, but I am still flesh and blood; even the Gods had their trials.

I haven’t been on much of late – I’m sure you all have missed My regular diatribe. *smiles* I have been experiencing life and all the wonderful pleasure and pain that comes with it.

It seems, in My life at least, that nothing is ever an easy road. Just when I think I can settle in for some smooth sailing, Hecate Herself seems to come down to rock the boat a little and remind Me of a few things.

Be confident, but humble. Be strong, but know when vulnerability is a strength. Be Dominant but recognize when to keep it in check (yes, in vanilla terms there are times when ever Dominant knows that they have to maintain the balance.) Be sadistic, but know also when to tend with gentleness (and realize, too, that gentleness can also be torment if used properly!) Be selfish – for you deserve it – but be selfless enough to appreciate those who provide for You. Be in control – but know when it’s acceptable to trust and delegate on various things.

Be fearless…develop unbound compassion for our own suffering and that of others..make peace with all of who you are because it is all sacred – your fear, your sadness, your anger, your confusion, your beauty.’ Waht we do is not who we are.

There are times, I believe, in every life when you are so focused on one aspect of Self, that you neglect – or simply forget – that it’s only ONE aspect of a greater whole.

Shock and surprise – even Dominant’s make mistakes. Even They, in Their infinite wisdom and core, have times where they struggle.

This has been that for Me of late.

I am all of what I wrote above. Sadistic, selfish, controlling, strong, Dominant. I am also loving, affectionate, giving, selfless, gentle and vulnerable. I’m still working on humility! *winks* But in all seriously I had been focusing so much on pursuing and exploring the latter that I have been neglecting the former out of a fear that I would be weak.

Weakness, I have been reminded, is being too stubborn to look at yourself and slow down, or recognize when there is a lack of balance.

I have, again, been reminded how blessed I am to have squire to walk this path with Me. he is a difficult pet, there is no mistake in that. There are plenty of times I want to catch that cock in stocks and make him stand there bound and unable to escape while I take some wonderous instrument of pain to his hide. *beams* But at the same time he brings out of Me that which needs to be accepted and integrated – as I have no doubt I do for him in kind. he is able to bring out the worst…but most importantly the BEST in Me. THAT to Me is what a ‘true’ exploration of this lifestyle is about.

Unfortunately, as balance is key – you can’t have one without the other.

you can play all day – but at the end of it all, if you aren’t pushing the limits of YOURSELF to be able to fully adapt, absorb, integrate and BALANCE yourself – then what the hell are you really doing here?

I started to do this as an amazingly wicked hobbie – one where I could play and make some money enjoying Myself. I’ve found in it, and through My remarkable pet, so very much more.

I am finding Me.

….and no, neither one of us are certain where that is going to take us. Neither one of us is certain what tomorrow may bring – positively or negatively. But it is evolution.
